Thermopolis, Wyoming

So over the fourth we went up to Thermopolis to spend some time with the Luther bunch. It was great we stayed at Anthony's grandparent's house. His dad and Cris came, Holly Vern and the girls, and Anthony's aunts uncles and cousins. It was a ton of fun and a much needed break from Rexburg.
Anthony was happy to not be in school and I was happy to see other adults during the day lol.

At the parade!

Anthony lighting off some fireworks. He LOVES fire! Honestly he makes me a little nervous but he has so much fun :)

Ainslee went swimming for the very first time. She really liked it. The water was nice and warm and so she just hung out. At times I thought she was going to fall asleep she was so relaxed lol. She also liked to drink the water...yuck. We had to work really hard because she just wanted to stick her face in the water and lick lol.

Saw some buffalo so we had to take a picture.

Anthony and I went for a motorcycle ride which was really fun.

On the way home we went through Yellowstone, it was really pretty and a nice end to a great trip.

Dragon's mouth

Lol we couldn't get her to look at the camera, so this is what we got for a family picture...oh well

A waterfall, super awesome! I really have never seen a waterfall before and now I have seen two in the last couple of months.

While we were walking around Ainslee had fun chewing on the stroller. My little goof ball loves to chew.

All tuckered out poor thing. She slept so good that night it was awesome!

This stupid elk held up traffic for like and hour and a half!!! We were waiting in a line of cars forever long and Anthony kept saying "It better be a bear up there." but it wasn't just a couple of elk haha.

And finally some pretty scenery from the drive.

What I know about my 5 month old

Ok so here are some things that I have noticed about Ainslee lately :)

-She is absolutely fascinated with her hands. She holds them in front of her face and turns them front to back and just watches them, it is so cute.
-She really likes to look at herself in the mirror. It is funny she freaks out. She screams and kicks her feet.

-She can roll over the first time was June 20th :) She can go from her back to her tummy, and she is really good at it. She hardly ever stays on her back any more. The last few days she has been going from tummy to back.

-She is getting pretty good at sitting up with the boppy around her.
-She loves eating food! Carrots and sweet potatoes are her favorite I would say. She likes Peaches and bananas, but she hates applesauce. If she is anywhere near our plates or cups while we're eating she tries to pull anything she can into her mouth :)
- She love music. If any comes on she will turn towards it and just smile a great big toothless grin.
-I think she is teething too, she is really cranky lately. She just is fussy for no reason I can figure out and she wants to chew more so than usual.
-Something not so great about this stage of Ainslee's life is she hates to nap. She HATES it! I am having a horrible time getting her to take naps and when she does it is a cat nap. She sleeps for an hour tops. Most of the time it is 30-45 minutes. She's not cranky (most days) and she sleeps so good at night I guess she's getting the sleep she needs.

Ok and a few cute pictures of course :)

I love her so much!

A little messy after daddy fed her dinner

Yay bath time...she has outgrown her little hooded towel we bought for her when she was born which is kinda sad.

Had to document this moment, it is the first time she has been with John and not cried. Lol she would always cry when he looked at her but all of a sudden she thinks he's ok. She's a dork.

When Lacey and John had Emma we went over for a little visit. This is Ainslee's diaper compared to Emma's. Where did my little baby go?! She's just growing up way too fast :(

Ainslee and Emma together

We had a ward campout at our bishop's cabin up in Island Park. It is beautiful up there. Anthony got to do some fishing and finally caught some fish. He caught 3 trout! He was so excited lol. We had them for lunch the next day and they were pretty darn delicious.

One of the fish!!!

Ainslee and Daddy sitting on the dock

This is the cabin, a pretty crappy shot I know but it was awesome. It was huge! We had a ton of fun.

Anthony getting the hook out of another one of the fish

Ainslee really likes Watermelon

And she got to ride the carousel! She seemed to have fun lol although it took a lot to get this little smile out of her.

She loves to play in her exersaucer
